Our Story
Born in Aruba. Made for Aruba. We grew up on this island — and for a long time, we noticed something was missing.
Born in Aruba
We grew up on this island. We know what it feels like, what it sounds like, what it means to call it home. And for a long time, we noticed something was missing — apparel that actually represented Aruba with the quality and craft it deserves. Not mass-produced souvenirs. Not generic tourist tees. Something real.
The truth is, we were already deep in the game. For years, we’d been screen printing at scale — running production for the souvenir market, mastering the craft from ink to fabric. We knew the process inside and out. The presses, the materials, the precision it takes to print something you’re proud to wear.
Island-Pressed
Everything was already in-house. The presses, the materials, the precision. The only thing missing was a brand that matched our standards. So in 2024, we started building. Not just a brand — a foundation.
We invested the time to get every detail right, from the quality of our garments to the designs that tell our island’s story. No shortcuts. No compromises. Every piece is screen printed by hand, in-house, on-island.
Every garment is screen printed in-house in Aruba. The craft, the weight of the ink on fabric — that’s what makes LAMA real. This isn’t just a production detail, it’s the brand’s soul.
Local Aruban artists create every design. These aren’t stock graphics — they’re original works born from the same beaches, sunsets, and streets you’re standing on.
We use Papiamento language, local landmarks, and island symbolism as genuine expressions of identity — never as decoration or kitsch. For locals and visitors alike.
“Elevate how Aruba wears its identity.”The LAMA Mission
Welcome to LAMA
In 2025, The Lama Brand officially launched with our first location at Renaissance Marketplace, right in the heart of Oranjestad. A space where locals and visitors alike can experience what Aruban apparel should feel like — premium, intentional, and proudly made on the island it represents.
This is just the beginning. But from day one, the mission has been the same: elevate how Aruba wears its identity. Welcome to The Lama Brand.
